Un nouveau venu dans le monde des festivals helvétiques

Heartland 2010: A celebration of independent Canadian music. Vevey, Switzerland November 11-14th, 2010.

We are excited and proud to provide a podium to showcase and celebrate independent Canadian music and musicians for our first Festival. Firstly, as an act of love and appreciation for their contributions, and secondly, to provide a chance to local music lovers in Vevey, Switzerland and neighboring countries to witness and enjoy performances by some of the best indie musicians these days. It is not surprising that most of the artists participating in this Festival, as well as some members of the Association Sounds Quixotic, come from Toronto; a city known for its love of art and community building. It is also no surprise that the Festival and the remaining members of the Association are from Vevey, a city known for its dedication to the area of art and culture which has been attracting artists from around the globe for years. The tale of these two cities, which differ in size, speaks volumes to their equal love and support of art, music and culture.

The Festival expands over a 4 day period and will be hosted at various venues in Vevey.

dommage que Black Rebel Motorcycle Club soit le même soir à Lausanne, j'aurai bien voulu les voir...
