L'album sortira le 28 mai et une vidéo d'un nouveau morceau (Ekki Mukk) est déjà en ligne! D'ailleurs, après l'écoute de ce morceau, je pense que tes craintes seront apaisées. Gritche!

Effectivement du moment que ça reste dans cette veine

album dispo sur le net !

très (trop?) ambient. De longues plages de violons/guitares, chants, synté/piano. Batterie quasi inexistante (2 minutes de grosse caisse sur le 3ème morceau), pareil pour la basse. Très nordique, et peu mélodique.

Je sais que ça fait un moment qu'il est dispo sur le net mais ça ne m'intéresse pas de le télécharger de cette manière. Je vais sagement attendre que ma pré-commande arrive.

Sigur Rós has composed a special piece for an episode of The Simpsons, which airs in the States later this month, mbl reports.

The episode is expected in part to take place in Iceland, the ancestral home of the character Carl Carlson (of Carl and Lenny... of Karl and Lenin), who first claimed Icelandic heritage in the show’s 14th season. The last time Iceland featured on the Simpsons was in 2010, when the 2008 bank crash was lampooned (see related picture).

According to mbl, the original piece by Sigur Rós weighs heavily into the episode, which also features the band’s members drawn as characters. A Sigur Rós cover of the Simpsons theme song by Danny Elfman is also in the cards.

The episode is scheduled to air on May 19th.
